Outdoor residential environments can be uniquely enhanced,
both visually and "acoustically" by the appropriate
placement of one of our contemporary Wind Harps. Though most
home owners probably have never considered the possibility of
adding sound to their landscaping plans, a Wind Harp is a natural
choice when the desire arises to do something "special"
with your home's outdoor areas.
When planning a Wind Harp for your residence, take into careful
consideration the directions of the prevaling winds around
your home, and the placement of trees, buildings, and other
objects that might prevent the wind from "playing"
your Wind Harp on a regular basis. Large open areas and natural
rises, which give the wind free reign to blow through your
harp's strings, are excellent placement choices. The tones
created by the Wind Harp are both enchanting & draw us in—and yet, they also blend into the natural soundscape like
the song of the cricket on a late summer afternoon.

"The song of the wind harp lacking a discernable sequence
or pattern (the hallmark of our current definition of music)
clearly has an ambient quality to it's expression. Ambient
music must be able to accomodate many levels of listening
attention without enforcing any one in particular."
