It is a living and interactive Soundscape inviting the
public to enter into its multi-dimensional energy field.
Carefully laid out benches, plants walkways and fountains
provide a perfect setting within which to relax and enjoy
the visual and audible beauty of a variety of contemporary
acoustic sculptures called wind Harps.
The entire Sound Garden including the Wind Harps are designed
using the principles of sacred geometry which are intended
to create a visual and auditory ambiance that supports
a contemplative experience. The water flowing throughout
the garden has a strong affinity for the harmonic sound
generated by the Wind Harps and its functions as a receptive
and living entity eager to embody and outflow the harmonic
tones generated by the Wind Harps.
The Harmonic Sound Garden demonstrates a 21st Century
approach to new dimensions in healing & balance using
the co-creative qualities of sound and water.
Water and Sound
The incredible sensitivity that water exhibits in its
ability to hold and remember vibrational information is
beautifully documented in the well known research of Dr.
Masaru Emoto, a Japanese Scientist. Books written are:
Hidden Messages in Water and the True Power
of Water.
Dr Emoto’s extensive research involved taking samples
of clean and vibrant water, samples of polluted dead water,
samples of water exposed to beautiful relaxing classical
music and samples of water exposed to discordant music
and negative thought forms. The water was frozen on small
petri dishes and then photographed using dark field microscopy
as crystals began to form. The results consistently showed
that the healthy & vibrant water held a beautiful
and symmetrically ordered hexagonal crystalline matrix.
The polluted & dead water had no order or symmetry
whatsoever in its crystalline structure. The photographs
of the frozen water samples varied in their complexity
and levels of order depending on the purity or state of
consciousness of the water. This research is very similar
and supported by that of CYMATICS which demonstrates that
sound profoundly structures and organizes matter. Water
has been found to be the most sensitive medium not only
on this planet but in our bodies (our blood is 90% water)
to hold, remember and communicate this vibrational information.

Water and the Harmonic Sound Garden™
The whole purpose of the harmonic Sound Garden is to create
a totally interactive outdoor soundscape with Wind Harps
designed (using the principles of sacred geometry) to
generate an ambient field of harmonic tones, totally orchestrated
and ignited by nature.
Harmonic sound can also be experienced in nature from
many sources such as waves crashing on the sea shore,
wind blowing through the Aspen leaves on a high country
hike, listening to the crickets on a warm summer evening
or human voices singing in a harmonic choir.
The effect of listening to these sounds has a relaxing
and centering effect on one’s state of consciousness.
This is due in degree to the fact that these types and
qualities of sounds entrain the brain wave patterns to
resonate in the alpha frequency band which are known to
induce a relaxed and receptive state of consciousness.
This is an experience that is dynamic always new and only
happens when the awareness is focused in the now.
